I've been put in a cage. I wish I could say that I didn't deserve my prison sentence, however, I feel as though I've earned it. You see it's my politeness that has put me here. What happens when you are a gentleman constantly? What happens when you say your pleases and thank you's and hold open the occasional door for women? Lend me your ears and I will tell you what happens. Suddenly you are "that nice guy." Oh, that label that I loathe.
It's not that I hate niceness per say. I hate the fences associated with "nice." "Nice" people don't party, they don't get wild, they don't enjoy the nightlife, they don't dance to modern music, and they don't have any real fun. "Nice" people, they stay home and knit. Well, I don't knit, I dance on tables with my drunk friends. So efff nice. I've got beef with "Nice"
Don't get me wrong, I am a gentleman. I will always strive to treat everyone with dignity and respect. But please don't patronize me. Don't assume that because I smile and use proper english that I am a Anglo-Saxon asshole whose family resembles the "Beaver" family.
I've had it with "Nice." I'm sick of this label and I'll do anything but abandon my morals to ditch it. Maybe someday I'll meet a gal who will look past the exterior "plain" Jesse long enough to see that when the work/school day ends. the leash that is my professional image comes off. I've overheard enough party invites to know that I'll never get one as the "professional." I need to cuss more, come to work drunk a few times, and have a plethora of pathetic drunk stories in order to fit in.
I apologize for the rant. Oh, wait.............. there I go again. Actually, never-mind. If you don't like it don't read it.

It's so true, women of your generation ask to be treated like garbage. They want the bad boy who gets in trouble and ruins his life, when they should really want the intelligent man who parties and can still get the work done. Keep level headed, you're doing fine.
